Its back to work today, after a great day off on Sunday! Had more shut-eye on Saturday night (8 hours!) so I'm feeling better for a more 'back-to-normal' WOD today.
WOD
3 rounds of
20 weighted push ups (10kg)
10 pull ups
1 power clean (40kg)
5 front squats (40kg)

I feel totally beat from work. Planned to go heavy but by the time I got home from work today, I decided against it. Revised the WOD abit from the usual set-up though, figuring that too much of the same thing won't do me good. And my legs are so beat from work. Back from Bali, bye-bye to work-life balance again.
WODs will be based in Bali from the 11th to 15th of March! Not expecting any weights over at Bali, just a miniature pool. I reckon my WODs will consist of alot of handstand push ups, push ups, pistol squats, burpees. And if there is a pull up bar or parallel bar, I can include pull ups, bar ups, toes to bars, and dips. Hope they've got that in the Villa! Guess I'll go very heavy on the volume of the moves as these will be free-bodyweight.
I'll do a WOD at home today before the flight. Will be awhile before I get to work with my barbell and my pull up bar at home.
Pull ups - chest to bar. This is how you get good at it.
Today's WOD will be an interesting one - the annual IPPT (individual physical proficiency test)! This year's IPPT will be interesting because this will be a battle between my overly-long work hours, periods of working more than 24hours, working through weekends; versus my slow, painful gains (and quick declines) in fitness as I explore Cross Fit.
I think work will take its toll and it will surely show later. I haven't even really started training for IPPT due to work and today's the test already as my annual window is soon closing.
On the flipside, I'm off to Bali for the next 5 days. A good break from work - more time to eat heavy, workout in the Villa, catch some Sun, sea & swimming pool, and more sleep.
Update: Back from IPPT - did better than last year, when I hadn't started working yet and had all the time in the world to train. The only two things that changed was (1) less time to work out, less sleep, less free time and (2) I am more 'in-tuned' to Cross Fit now than than, though I manage to go down for a WOD only once every 2 weeks, on average.
I shall spend the next 5 days in Bali really enjoying myself with tonnes of good meat, a private villa & private pool, and lots of sleep!
